| Brandon Ifill finished his junior season with 37 tackles and one interception. On offense, he had around 30 receptions for 450 yards and three touchdowns. He says he can bench 235-pounds, squat 275 and has a 35-inch vertical jump.
Partial senior (5-5) stats: 18 receptions for 240 yards; 50 tackles, 1 punt return for a touchdown and one interception.
Ifill says he wants to major in business and economics and reports a 2.9 core GPA and a 770 SAT. He is retaking the test on Dec. 12.
Ifill: “I have good speed and awareness. I play very fast and I’m fearless. I come to hit and hit hard. I play bigger than I am.
“I want to get stronger. I also want to cover better and read the quarterback quicker.
“I didn’t really start playing defense until the middle of last year. I’ve got a lot of perfecting that I still need to do.”
