In 2004-05:
Earned first career start in 2004-05 season-opener at Charlotte (11/22) and ended the year as the only player to start every game for the Scarlet Knights... In two games in less than a week’s span against Notre Dame, Joynes totaled 23 rebounds and 12 points... Posted a career-high 15 rebounds at Notre Dame (3/2)... Averaged a team-best 7.6 rebounds per game over RU’s last 12 contests... Recorded a career-high two steals in the regular-season finale vs. BC (3/5), while blocking two shots and scoring four points... Matched his career high of three blocks on three separate occasions last season against Boston College (2/16), Connecticut (2/19) and West Virginia (2/26)...

Played solid post defense and made two critical free throws in the second half in a productive six-minute stint that helped Rutgers defeat Iowa State in the semifinals of the NIT at Madison Square Garden...had seven points, three rebounds and a career-high three blocked shots vs. Northern Colorado (2/17/04)...had a career day vs. LIU (12/20/03), establishing career highs in points (10) and field goals made (4), and matched his career high in field goals attempted (5) and rebounds (8)... |
