Averaged 17 points, 19 rebounds and five blocks per game as a senior while leading Brentwood to the Long Island Class AA Championship and a 20-5 record. Suffered a knee injury late in the season that caused him to sit out Brentwood’s state tournament loss to New Rochelle. Garcia underwent successful offseason surgery.
He was named the Suffolk County Player of the Year by Newsday and First Team All-Long Island.

Scouting Large wingspan, yet has a sturdy frame. Good hands, and pretty good feet, and will score with his back to the basket. He has a nice touch around the hoop. Garcia is mobile and runs the floor with decent foot speed. He is a solid outlet passer.
