Friday night was the final showdown. The Philadelphia Catholic League title was up for grabs and La Salle and St. Joseph’s Prep were ready to dig in and beat each other to a pulp at Northeast High School. Scout.com has been out to watch stars play for or against North Penn like Anthony Gonzalez, Corey Majors, J.D. Dzurko, Jarrod West and many others, however every time we see the Knights the man blowing it up on the field is junior running back Craig Needhammer. Neshaminy High School has a proud tradition of winning football and is one of the best programs in the state of Pennsylvania. On Friday night they ran into the juggernaut that is North Penn and unfortunately for Corey Majors and his teammates, they lost to end their season. Majors talked with us after the game.   Full Story

Rutgers continues to give out offers for the 2011 class, and recently the Scarlet Knights offered one of the Treasure Coast's top juniors. The player is 6-foot-6, 290 pounds and plays both offensive tackle positions and defensive end. He already has a few handfuls of offers, and said he watched the "beating" Rutgers put on South Florida last week on national television.   Full Story

Defensive tackle Richard Ash of Pahokee (Fla.) High recently visited UCLA, and he said Michigan is next, followed by a trip to Rutgers. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Ash made a visit to West Virginia in September, and talks about whether he has a leader, what he's looking for in a school and about what he experienced during his trip to UCLA.   Full Story

Lorenzo Waters says Rutgers, where he officially visits on Dec. 5, is recruiting him the hardest. “I get calls from them regularly,” Waters said. “I like talking to (defensive line) coach Gary Emanuel. He’s a cool guy. He tells you how it is. I like how he says it’s not all fun and games. He’s just real honest.” On Dec.15, Waters may take an official visit to Cal, but he says it’s not set yet.    Full Story

Rutgers offered the Florida cornerback before his senior season began, and has reciprocated the interest. The player is also being recruited by Cincinnati and Middle Tennessee State, and he will visit each of those schools. However, will the player be visiting Rutgers as well? Rutgers continues to recruit Maryland hard, and recently offered a class of 2011 player from Baltimore. The player has offers from several other schools and getting interest from more than a dozen BCS schools. He rushed for more than 2,000 yards and accounted for more than 30 touchdowns in 2009. Check out recent video of Sayreville High (Parlin, N.J.) linebacker/tight end David Milewski, who committed to Rutgers last week. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder was recruited as a linebacker, but his size and blocking gives the Scarlet Knights versatility. Milewski said he could also see himself playing tight end or defensive end.   Full Story

Last season, Gonzaga had a (2-8) record. This season that record improved to (6-5) and a trip to the playoffs.
