Litmus Test

		By Dan Welch Date: Dec 28, 2004 Rutgers completes the pre-conference portion of its schedule this week with a Midwest road trip to visit Kansas State and Air Force. Rutgers Head Coach Gary Waters assembled for the Scarlet Knights one of the more challenging non-conference schedules in recent years. I felt that the Kansas State and Air Force games were swing games. This week will be a litmus test for Gary Waters. Two wins can restore the post-season trajectory. Two losses will likely consign the team to a losing season.
