Florida Safety Heading to Rutgers Camp

Vero Beach (Fla.) High safety Larry Franklin holds seven offers, but he is working toward more. That is why he is heading to Rutgers in a few weeks to take part in a camp, and hopefully leave the Graden State with an offer. The 6-foot, 190-pound Franklin talks about the Scarlet Knights program, what he knows about coach Greg Schiano, and whether he is close to making a decision.

Vero Beach (Fla.) was long-known as a baseball area, serving as the spring training home to the Los Angeles Dodgers for six decades before the team moved to Arizona.
