JUCO Guard Graham Chooses Rutgers

New Rutgers coach Mike Rice picked up his second committment of the week when junior college guard Tyree Graham changed his pledge from UAB to Rutgers. The spring signing period ended Wednesday night, so it is uncertain whether Graham signed a binding national letter of intent, or whether he will sign scholarship papers, which would still allow him to change his mind and attend another school.

Tyree Graham, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound guard out of Brunswick Community College, announced a non-binding oral commitment to play at Rutgers via his twitter account. Graham, who played for one season at Texas Tech before transferring to a junior college closer to his home, will have two years of eligibility remaining.
