King James Holds Court

Posted Feb 9, 2003

SVSM played Westchester last night and I use the term played very loosely. It was all about King James as he held court at the Sovereign Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, The King scored 52 including 31 first half points in just 16 minutes as SVSM ran out to a 41-24 lead. The King went 5 for 6 from 3 in the first half and scored 7 more than the whole Westchester team. No easy feat when you realize that Trevor Ariza a top 25 inside recruit for UCLA is on the California team. James went 21 of 35 for the Fighting Irish and led his team to a 78-52 victory. There are no adjectives to describe James, electrifying is an injustice. I've avoiding watching this future NBA All Star but Just One Look is All it Took, move over Kobe, it's King James Time.
