Boyd Anderson LB commits to Rutgers

Marcus Thompson, a 6'2" 225 LB linebacker from Boyd Anderson HS in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has committed to Rutgers. Thompson is one of the top LB's in South Florida.

Marcus Thompson has the ability to play both the inside and outside linebacker positions.

He had many positives to say about the school. "I just loved it up here. I developed a good relationship with the coaches. The coaches thought I performed real well. I then had a good talk with Coach Schiano. I just felt real comfortable. I think I fit in well and will operate well in the system. I also wanted to get away from home".

Thompson becomes the first defensive commitment and first Florida prospect for the 2010 class.
