JT Tartacoff is known for his straight-line speed (4.34). The New Jersey sprinter has decided to keep his prowess in-state and play for the Scarlet Knights. His early commitment helps to conclude a marvelous day where the Scarlet Knights showed glimpses of the talent it takes to remain a formidable opponent in the Big East. Tartacoff is the 2nd addition to a potentially wonderful 2009 RU class.

SOR introduced their readers to JT Tartacoff in his freshman year as he was turning heads with his elite speed. As a junior, he was also highly productive on the field, amassing over 500 yards receiving, recording 10 catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns rushing, returning a kickoff for a touchdown, and completing 6 of 6 passes for 74 yards and an additional score - all during 6 games of action.

After taking a visit to a number of schools, he decided to end his recruitment with a commitment to his home state university - Rutgers. SOR had an opportunity to catch up with Tartacoff to provide you with his feelings on his commitment.
