All-Star List
We had to make some tough,
tough choices for TheInsiders.com/CNNSI.com All-America Team, especially on
the offensive side of the ball.
Two positions in particular were very difficult to determine, quarterback
and wide receiver. This season there are three elite quarterbacks -- Kyle
Wright, Chris Leak and JaMarcus Russell.

Interesting Article
At halftime, a veteran
NBA scout was walking through a corridor in the Palestra, heading for the
back door. He had seen LeBron James play many times before. Last night, a
half was enough.
"He's ahead of his time," the scout said as he walked along the
crowded corridor, past photographs of high school players who had previously
lit up the place with their presence. There, on an inside wall, was Simon
Gratz's Rasheed Wallace before he ever got a technical, and Kobe Bryant in
a Lower Merion High uniform, taking the ball to the hoop. A skinny No. 5 from
Overbrook High dominated the photo collage, holding two balls out wide, showing
off the awesome wingspan of a teenage Wilt Chamberlain.
