There are always those players who the major college programs overlook for one reason or another. There are more than a handful every year. One of these players appears to be Steve Holness, who is a 6'0"-230lbs inside LB.

Stephen Holness hails from Brooklyn, New York and played football at South Shore H.S where he was All-City. As a senior, he registered 115 tackles and 9 sacks along with 1 touchdown. He participated in the New York State All-Star game, where he was named Defensive MVP.

In an effort to improve on his opportunities for playing major college football, he enrolled into Milford Academy. Holness continued to excel as he had 55 tackles and recorded 10 sacks. There are a number of Football Championship Subdivision programs involved in his recruitment. But he is yet to get his first Bowl Championship Subdivision scholarship offer.
