Video Interview: Damaso Munoz

After taking the spring off to rehab his injured shoulder, Miami/Florida native Damaso Munoz returns to compete for the MLB spot. He has made great physical gains in the off-season and appears set to build on the impact he made last season.

Damaso Munoz is entering his redshirt junior year at Rutgers. After a very productive sophomore season that saw him start 10 games and tally 67 tackles, 7 for loss, including 2.5 sacks, Munoz is now ready to take on a continued leadership role for the Rutgers defense. However, he does find himself competing with returning Scarlet Knight Ryan D'Imperio, who may himself be one of the better linebackers in the Big East Conference.

In this media day interview, Damaso discusses his return to play, post-shoulder surgery, as well as his insight of the linebackers and the defensive unit for the upcoming season. Recommended Stories
