Video Interview: Malcolm Bunche

SOR first introduced fans to Malcolm Bunche of Newark HS (Newark, DE) earlier this month. The massive offensive line prospect is one of the fastest rising linemen in the northeast, having garnered several offers to date. SOR had an opportunity of catch up with him at the Rutgers Big Man Academy last week.

Malcolm Bunche is an imposing physical specimen that stands at 6-foot-5-inches and 318-pounds. The affable young man certainly does not lack for any confidence and seems to play with a chip on his shoulder. His sheer size coupled with his athletic ability, alone, make him a very intriguing prospect, and several schools have tendered scholarship offers already, including Rutgers, Miami, and others.

Bunche recently payed a visit to the Rutgers campus, having participated in the one day showcase being held inside Rutgers Stadium. The event was held for linemen only, and Bunche, already holding a Rutgers offer, certainly did impress. Moreover, he came away impressed with the Rutgers Staff, in particular with Rutgers OL Coach Kyle Flood.
