Video Interview: Mike Larrow

Among the Rutgers commitments participating in the Big Man Academy was Union HS DL Mike Larrow. SOR had the opportunity to catch up with the Garden State standout and future Scarlet Knight following an impressive showing last Saturday on the Banks of the Old Raritan.

Compared to the recent blizzard of verbal commitments Mike Larrow's pledge on the second day of June, seems like months ago. Indeed, Larrow was the sixth commitment to the current Rutgers class, who have since secured a whopping nine more verbals, with the most recent trio coming yesterday. Larrow's commitment, however, was indeed major in its own right. Chief among them, it was evidence of yet another highly rated Jersey prospect that had pledged his allegiance to the Rutgers staff, indicating the continuing cultural flux that Rutgers Head Coach Greg Schiano vowed to instill, upon arriving in Piscataway some seven-plus seasons ago.

After the conclusion of the camp, SOR had the oportunity to talk to Larrow in depth about his performance at the Big Man Academy last weekend, an additional position he'll be playing at this fall, his summer workouts, and more.
