Brazinski will attend Rutgers University

A dapper Mark Brazinski ensured that the day he announced his collegiate destination he would more than look the part of a college young man. Dressed in a stylish scarlet jacket, Mark Brazinski, by way of Immaculata HS [Somerville, NJ], decided to end his college recruitment by selecting the in-state Scarlet Knights.
When it came down to selecting a future college,
Mark Brazinski
decided on
Rutgers
, over offers from
Boston College
, Penn,
Florida State
, and Bucknell. The well-spoken Brazinski's impressive academic resume left him with a difficult choice - The Wharton School of Business [i.e., Penn], Boston College and their impressive academic standing, or Rutgers, the up-and-comer that has, in recent years, become a giant on and off the field (RU football was ranked No. 3 in the nation in the Academic Progress Rate [APR] according to the latest APR figures released by the NCAA, and also received the top rating of any state university in the nation).
While the academic standing of Rutgers was an important factor, the coaching staff, according to both Brazinski and his parents, played a pivotal role as well.
"Every time we left Rutgers we always felt better than the last time we were here," stated Mr. Brazinski, alluding to the key role played by the Rutgers coaching staff.
Brazinski has become the ninth pledge to Coach Schiano's 2009 football recruiting class and the second offensive lineman to do so, joining
Jamal Wilson
(South Shore HS, Brooklyn, NY).
