After overwhelming Robert Morris 85-42 in first round action, the second-seeded Scarlet Knights advanced to the second round to face seventh-seeded Iowa State on Monday evening. The originally scheduled tipoff time of 7 p.m. has been changed. Tipoff has instead been set for 9:00 p.m. from the Wells Fargo Arena in, Des Moines, IA.

Rutgers will face #7 Iowa State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in a virtual road game fo the Scarlet Knights. The Cyclones' campus is a mere 35 miles away from the Wells Fargo Arena in, Des Moines, IA. Iowa State (21-12), which averages one of the largest attendances among NCAA teams and which drew in excess of 9K during their first round victory over the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech, should make Rutgers feel right at home in the NCAA Tournament.

During the Scarlet Knights' last seven NCAA tourney appearances, they have played a team on its home court or in the state where the opposing school is located six of those times.
