Linebacker Ka’Lial Glaud holds a number of scholarship offers from major BCS programs. The talented Winslow Township High School athlete recently took a trip to Rutgers for the Scarlet Knight's second Junior Day. What did the rising Junior say about his trip?

"The trip went well, it was good," stated Ka'Lial Glaud, the talented Winslow Township High School athlete. "When we first got there we ate lunch with the coaches, and then they gave us a tour of the school and that was nice. We [Glaud and his uncle] then went into Coach Schiano's office to talk. They just pulled me out of the crowd to meet with me," continued the 6-foot-1.5 and 215-pound Garden State prospect.

"He [Coach Schiano] was a real cool guy. It wasn't that we were even talking about football the entire time, but we did talk about it a little," said Glaud, who states that Rutgers is recruiting him as a LB.

Glaud also met with Rutgers' Recruiting Coordinator, Coach Joe Susan, for whom he has taken a liking to. "He has a real good sense of humor and he was a real cool guy."

Although the visit went well, Glaud stated that Rutgers had not yet offered. However, he remains hopeful and believes a 'ship may be coming sooner rather than later. "They seem like they are really close [to offerring]," stated Glaud. Considering the one on one meeting the Atco, NJ, standout had with Coach Greg Schiano, in addition to meeting with both Coach Joe Susan and Coach Frazier, one would have to agree with Glaud.

The Scarlet Knights and any other teams, however, will need to ensure that they throw their hat into the ring sooner, and not later. Glaud indicated that he would prefer to make a decision regarding his collegiate destination before the beginning of his senior year.

Glaud, who holds offers from Cincinnati, East Carolina, Iowa, Maryland and Syracuse, stated that he was ready to issue a Top 5. In no particular order of preference, his Top 5 includes: Rutgers, Penn State, Tennessee, Maryland, and Ohio State.
