Schiano and Rutgers to Face Stiff Test

Rutgers Head Coach Greg Schiano was encouraged by the Scarlet Knights' play against Buffalo, but now must prepare for a bigger test in Navy.

Rutgers Head Football Coach Greg Schiano and his Scarlet Knights began preparation for the Navy Midshipmen this past Monday. Navy presents an odd matchup for whoever they go up against. In their opener they rushed the ball 56 times and did not reach double digits in passing attempts. The danger, however, lies in those few attempts, which often catch the opposition in the wrong place.

Navy opened up their 2007 campaign with a 30-19 victory over the Temple Owls, while #16 Rutgers defeated Buffalo 38-3.
