Franklin Green has a Top 3 & favorite

As a junior, Franklin Green used his speed and vision to rush for almost 2,000 yards while averaging more than 200 yards per game. These numbers enabled him to garner double digit offers. Among these offers are some of the best schools in the country. Green has narrowed his list of schools to three along with a clear favorite.

As is the trend, top prospects are making early pledges. For Green, he would like to make a decision before the start of the football season. Therefore, he has developed a list of his three top schools which are Florida, Rutgers, and South Carolina (in that order).

Currenly, Florida holds a solid lead over his other suitors. Green camped at Florida along with his teammate, Chazz Sutton. During the visit, Green was able to develop a good relationship with the Gators' RB coach, Stan Drayton. The family atmosphere that Coach Drayton fosters among the RB unit along with the team's chemistry is a big reason for the Gators' lead. Academically, Green likes Florida's school of business management which is among the better business schools in the country.

The Scarlet Knights currently occupy the number 2 slot on Green's list of favorites. They made a good impression on Green and his coaches during the May evaluation period. Green stated that "I like the amount of attempts the RBs get and the amount of players they graduate. They really give the players a lot of academic support".

As for South Carolina, Green stated that "I like them because they are close and I would have an opportunity to start early".

Last week, Green was very close to ending his recruitment with a commitment to Florida. After discussing the matter with his coaches and family, he decided to delay the decision until he is able to visit the other schools. Since Florida was the only school that he spent any meaningful time at, he agreed and would like to take visits to Rutgers and South Carolina. These visits would greatly depend on the availability of his coaches because they are his main means of transportation. There is a good chance that he will visit these schools to make an informed decision. If he is unable to visit them, he will likely commit to Florida before the football season. Stay tuned...SOR will be there to report on Green's final decision.
