Former Grady High School, Brooklyn, New York, shooting guard supreme, fifth year man, Quincy Douby gave Rutgers Coach Gary Waters a memorable third of September as he has decided to attend Rutgers University for the fall of 2003. The 6'3" 185 pound St. Thomas More guard is one of the best spot up three men in the class. He hit for over 60 points twice last year and went 18/21 on three's the day he went for 63. He played all year against a box in one and still managed to hit for almost 35 ppg. within the offense. He can take it to the hoop with the best of them. This year he will work on improving his grades and upper body strength. He is considered a top 75 recruit by most services and a top 15 fifth year man.
