The Rutgers men's basketball team will host BIG EAST foe DePaul on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 4:00 p.m. at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. The game will be televised on MSG.

The Scarlet Knights (8-8, 1-2 in the BIG EAST) are coming off a 68-58 loss to Syracuse on Wed., Jan. 10. Sophomore guard Courtney Nelson (Newark, N.J.) paced the Scarlet Knights with 14 points. Senior forward Adrian Hill (Canton, Ohio) added 10 points and tied a career-best with 10 rebounds, his second double-double of the year. Sophomore forward J.R. Inman (Pamona, N.Y.) registered 10 caroms to go along with eight points.

Inman leads the team in scoring with 12.5 points per game and is also first in rebounding with 7.8 boards per contest. Senior guard Marquis Webb (Paterson, N.J.) is also averaging double digits with 10.1 points per outing. Sophomore swingman Jaron Griffin (Manchester, N.J.) is scoring 9.6 points and sophomore guard Anthony Farmer (Millville, N.J.) averages 9.1 per game. Senior forward Adrian Hill (Canton, Ohio) is second on the team with 6.0 rebounds, while freshman center Hamady N'Diaye (Dakar, Senegal) is pulling down 3.8 boards per outing off the bench.

DePaul heads into Saturday's game with a 10-7 record, including a 1-2 mark in the BIG EAST. The Blue Demons are coming off a 59-49 loss to No. 7 Pittsburgh on Jan. 10. Wilson Chandler leads the team with 14 points per game and Sammy Mejia is averaging 13.7 points per outing. Chandler and Mejia both are each pulling down a team-best 6.7 rebounds per contest.

The 2005-06 campaign marked the first-ever meeting between the two teams with Rutgers posting a 78-68 overtime win on Jan. 11. Webb scored 13 points in the win for the Scarlet Knights, including shooting 3-of-4 from behind the three point arc. Farmer and Inman both chipped in 11 points apiece and Inman grabbed a team-beset nine rebounds.

Following the match-up with DePaul, the Scarlet Knights will host conference rival Georgetown on Jan. 17, at the Louis Brown Athletic Center (RAC) at 7:30 p.m.
