Video: Eric Foster discusses Texas Bowl Win

Eric Foster

Eric Foster has become a leader on a Scarlet Knight football team who's rise to national prominence is in large part due to its defensive domination. A First Team All-America (Football Writers Association of America) and Third Team All-America (AP) honoree, Foster - only a Junior - talked about Rutgers' Texas Bowl victory, the growth of RU's young phenoms and more.

After going down in the season opener at Illinois in 2005, Eric Foster made it a point to come back better and stronger in '06. After becoming a leader on a Top 10 Defense, Foster's accolades began to pour in, including a pair of AA awards and Honorable Mention recognition by SI.com.

This past Thursday evening, Foster was part of a Rutgers Football defense that completely shut down a Kansas State offense for 60 minutes. Foster talked about the team's performance after Rutgers' victory over the Wildcats, the impact and development of the Scarlet Knight youngsters and addressed the possibility of foregoing his Senior year at Rutgers.
