Raymell Rice was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week after 202 rushing yards and two touchdowns at
South Florida while Ito was named the BIG EAST Special Teams Player of the Week for his three field goals vs. the Bulls.

It marked the second time this season Rice was named the conference's offensive player of the week.
Rice finished with 35 carries for 202 yards and two touchdowns in Rutgers' 22-20 victory at USF on Sept. 29. Rice also tied Jennings' school record with his third 200-yard rushing performance.
For the season, Rice has 806 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.
Ito played a key role in Rutgers' 22-20 win at USF, accounting for 10 of the Scarlet Knights' 22 points. He made field goals of 32, 40 and 53 yards. The 53-yarder was a career high and the second longest in school history. For the season, Ito has made 6-of-8 field goal attempts.
Rutgers, ranked No. 23 in the USA Today/Coaches Poll and No. 24 in the Associated Press Top 25, is idle this week. The Scarlet Knights return to action Saturday, October 14 at
Navy. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and the game will be televised live to a national audience on CSTV.
