RU Commits Featured in All-Star Game

The PNC Big 33 football classic is widely considered one of the premiere scholastic All-Star football games in the nation. It highlights Pennsylvania's best and pitts them against Ohio's outstanding high school athletes.

Two members of Rutgers' Class of 2006 have been selected to the 2006 Pennsylvania Big 33 squad.

These players include Andres Morales (LB/DL) out of Liberty HS and Charlie Noonan (DL) by way of St. Joseph's Prep.

Morales also received Class AAAA Associated press All-State recognition and was tabbed as an area All-Star by the Morning Call.

Highlighting the quality of player that is featured in this marquee All-Star game it should be mentioned that the NFL's Super Bowl game has never been played without a Big 33 player as a participant.

The contest is set for Saturday evening, June 17 at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA.
