Cards arrive in Orlando for bowl game

The University of Louisville football team has arrived in Orlando, Fla., to prepare for next Saturday's Russell Athletic Bowl game against Miami, Fla. The game is slated for 6:45 p.m.

The University of Louisville football team traveled to Orlando, Fla., on Sunday in preparation for the Russell Athletic Bowl game next Saturday against Miami, Fla.

The Cardinals (11-1) will practice for the first time on Monday in Orlando.

U of L will practice once a day until a walk-through on Friday. The game is slated for 6:45 p.m. on Saturday in the Citrus Bowl.

Miami is 9-3 and it will mark the fourth straight year the Cardinals play in a bowl game. U of L beat Florida last season in the Sugar Bowl.

Cardinal Authority will have coverage all week on the bowl game and festivities.

Among the coverage will be a look at each position and a grade from the position coaches, also a look at some young players.
