PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers quarterback Gary Nova remained as the starter after two poor performances, and showed results with 371 passing yards and three touchdowns. Nova hit Leonte Carroo for the 33-yard game-winning touchdown in the final minute against Temple.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers coach Kyle Flood stuck with Gary Nova yet again, and it resulted in a 23-20 comeback victory over Temple.

After poor showings against Houston and Louisville, Nova went turnover free against the Owls and put Rutgers within one game of bowl eligibility.
