PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The adjustment from Stroudsburg (Pa.) High to Rutgers football has to be quick for Sebastian Joseph, who caught head coach Kyle Flood's eye with a strong first scrimmage at defensive tackle. Joseph spoke 1-on-1 with about his first week of camp.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. --For a freshman that could not lift weights the last six months of his high school career, defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph is physically ahead of the curve for Rutgers.

Coming off season-ending shoulder surgery as a senior at Stroudsburg (Pa.) High, Joseph did not full get into the strength and conditioning aspect of college football until July. Now at 6-foot-4, 275 pounds, the 3-technique finds himself working with the second team and will be watched closely with coach Kyle Flood this week in camp.
