PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers returns to the field to face Army on Saturday, but under strained conditions. The school announced its hurricane relief efforts, and athletic director Tim Pernetti and coach Kyle Flood spoke about it.

Rutgers announced its plan to help the Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund during coach Kyle Flood's Monday press conference.

The relief plans include a special "JeRsey StRong" t-shirt designed by Rutgers for sale this week. The shirt, costing $15, can be purchased at Friday's basketball opener at the Louis Brown Athletic Center, Saturday's football game against Army, and at Scarlet Fever.

Rutgers will also host a coat drive at Saturday's game and welcome the Red Cross to High Point Solutions Stadium to accept donations. Hurricane relief donations can also be made by texting the message "REDCROSS" to 90999.
