Corey Holmes Talks Football and More

WR Corey Holmes

One playmaker to keep an eye on from the Sunshine state checks in from Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Scout.com caught up with standout wide out Corey Holmes as he shared his thoughts about playoff football and his game.

"As a team our season has been pretty successful. We've made the playoffs and this game Friday determines whether or not we have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. There hasn't been too many disappointments this year other than amount of stats I have till this point in the season. What I have been proud of this season is the consistency that I have shown and determined to continue to show. Things I would work on is just catching the ball after practice just to remain comfortable catching the ball. Coach Tony Alford Notre Dame, Coach Chris Singletary from Michigan and Coach Grady Brown from South Carolina are the coaches I talk to the most. I dont have any trips set at the moment. What I would say has surprised me this year in college football has been so many teams vying for that number two spot."
