Vince Garrett, a 6-foot-5 wing, was the lone new scholarship player to join Rutgers
in last year's class and he is adjusting to life at his new school.
An athletic wing with an ability to score in transition and known as a good defensive player, Garrett acknowledged he is still getting used to the new style of play and his teammates.
He averaged 16 points and six rebounds last season at Lee College, and has two years of eligibility remaining.
