PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers coach Kyle Flood plans to use junior Jeremy Deering at receiver, safety and kick returner, meaning Deering's time is at a premium because of meetings and watching film. As the Scarlet Knights prepare to open the season Saturday at Tulane, Deering spoke to about his roles.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Jeremy Deering already spent one season as a receiver and one as a running back, and now the Rutgers junior is preparing to add to that resume.

Deering will be used as a receiver, kick returner and safety, and he spoke to about budgeting his time, and the demands of playing on both sides of the ball.
