PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- After Wednesday's double sessions, Rutgers coach Kyle Flood spoke to the media about several developments. Quarterback Gary Nova rested his arm much of the day, there are positions battles at right guard and strong side linebacker and Max Issaka is still not in training camp.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- An afternoon thunderstorm interrupted practice and sent Rutgers inside the "Bubble" for its conclusion, and afterward coach Kyle Flood touched on several key issues.

Among the topics Flood hit were quarterback Gary Nova not throwing much to rest his arm, how the position battles are working out at right guard and strong side linebacker, the health of safety Lorenzo Waters and the anticipated arrival of defensive end Max Issaka.
