PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- It was a busy day at Rutgers with position changes and coach Kyle Flood talking about which freshmen he believes will play. After the second of two practices, he wrapped up Monday in his meeting with the media.

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Freshman Darius Hamilton was moved from defensive end to 3-technique, Jamil Merrell moved from defensive tackle to defensive end and receiver Jeremy Deering took reps at safety.

It was a news-filled day as Rutgers had its first two-a-day session Monday, and after the second one coach Kyle Flood spoke to the media about it.
