South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, N.J.) athlete T.J. Taylor verbally committed to Rutgers this morning. Taylor becomes the fifth solid verbal commitment in the Class of 2013 and is the third South Brunswick player to commit to Rutgers in the last five years.

The South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, N.J.) connection at Rutgers is alive and well and athlete T.J. Taylor kept the pipeline strong this morning by making his verbal commitment to the Scarlet Knights.

Taylor chose Rutgers over offers from Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Temple and he is the fifth solid verbal commitment in the Class of 2013.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound athlete is the third South Brunswick player headed to Rutgers in the last five years with star Mohamed Sanu now in the NFL and cornerback Jevon Tyree set to begin in three weeks.

Rutgers recruited Taylor as an athlete with the idea of playing him at either wide receiver or safety.
