"I felt we did a good job with them," Agudosi said. "I was just telling them about how we're going to be a program on the rise. Those are three great players and we would be a lot better with them."
Agudosi, like the rest of the recruits, spent the weekend touring Rutgers, watching practice and having fun in New York City. But the best part for him was hanging out with his future teammates he said.
"I've known [wide receiver commit Leonte Carroo] for a long time," Agudosi said. "We're already friends and it was cool hanging out with him. … I liked eating with [wide receiver coach P.J. Fleck]. He's going to be a big part of my life."
Sophomore receiver Quron Pratt hosted Agudosi on his official visit.
"He's been a guy I watched a lot when I'm at games," Agudosi said. "I liked him a lot. He told me about how this is a good place to be and a good place to learn. It's a good place to prepare for the next level. Spending the weekend with him and the other guys was awesome."
Agudosi verbally committed to Rutgers in late May and is open about trying to improve his grades to academically qualify.
"Things have been going good," Agudosi said. "I'm just focused now that football is over and I'm playing basketball. I want to be ready for Rutgers this summer. … Being on the official visit made me want it more."
