Rutgers pulled in its second commitment of the day when Sayreville High (Parlin, N.J.) athlete Delon Stephenson gave Rutgers a non-binding oral commitment, according to a text message.

Stephenon's lone offer was from Rutgers, but he was also being recruited by Connecticut and Miami.

He joins big brother, Daryl, who is a freshman defensive tackle with the Scarlet Knights.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Stephenson can play running back, receiver and defensive back. He is also a dangerous punt and kickoff returner.
