Position Analysis: Tight ends

A flurry of commitments and recruiting action put the position-by-position post-season analysis on hold, but picks it up again with a look at the tight ends. It was a position that did not produce a lot, and one that has room for plenty of growth heading into the spring.

Rutgers hoping to make the tight end a vital cog in its offense once again, but dropped passes, committed inopportune penalties, struggled blocking and weren't a factor in the offense. D.C. Jefferson made 10 catches for 166 yards and a touchdown and Paul Carrezola had two catches for 18 yards.
